Throwback Thursday

When I was 17 my aunt took me to New York City for a weekend away. It was really cool, and also the first time in my life that I went on an airplane. I remember being very nervous. I’d love to go back to NYC at some point as an adult, since I suspect there are some parts of the city you just don’t appreciate in the same way as a teenager.

Me on my very first flight. You can't tell, but I'm terrified.

On the ferry to see the Statue of Liberty.

I think you know what this is.

Me hanging out with the celebrities. Or maybe just having dinner at Hardrock Cafe.

Me outside of our hotel, it was really close to Broadway, which was cool.

Me in Central Park.

Me in Central Park.

View from Central Park, I swear it's in the majority of movies/tv-shows taking place in NYC.

    • I know! Everything is huge in the U.S! First restaurant we went to shocked me. I remember a friend of my brother’s came back after a year in the US, went to McDonalds and asked for a big drink. He got really angry cause they gave him a medium, or so he thought, and wouldn’t believe them when they said it was really the biggest we have in Sweden *lol*
