December 13th in Sweden is something of a national holiday. No one gets time off work or anything, but it’s a celebrated day in schools and all over the country. I had planned to write about it, but because I’ve invited my family to dinner tonight I’m rather busy with preparations.
If you’re interested in knowing what Lucia is about, I found a wikipedia article on it here.
Now I had better get back to preparing for dinner. We’ll be six people dining, and little baby Viggo (but I don’t have to prepare anything for him since he’s still on formula). It’s a lot of work making dinner, and I’m honestly too tired for it, but I still do it. I just really enjoy sitting down to dinner with my family, and while it’s a lot of work it’s also a lot of fun.
