I’ve never been good at writing every single day, but I’m doing my damnedest to finish this challenge!
So, now onto my most memorable vacation. I’ve enjoyed most of my vacations, but one that I will always remember especially fondly is probably the family vacation we took to France in 2001. (Ages ago, I know!) It’s the only time I’ve been on vacation with (almost) my entire family as an adult.
We rented a big villa by the French riviera, in an area located between Nice and Cannes. Along for the holiday was my aunt and grandmother, my mom, her partner, my sister H, brother J and brother I. The villa was great, with a gorgeous view and big swimming pool. My sister and I shared a room on the top floor, with a balcony overlooking the ocean. I mean, come on… It doesn’t get much better.
We spent a week there, just enjoying ourselves and being a family. Having dinner together every day. Sunbathing, swimming, going on day trips. I like doing family things like that. It was a nice balance where we could hang out, but the place was big enough that you could be by yourself for a bit if you wanted to.
Oh, it was a great holiday. It’s something I would love to do again.
